Hi There,
I’ve got lots of musical things happening in my life. The most exciting is that I’ve been doing lots of writing and recording, and hope to have a full CD of new music available sooner than later. “Honestly” will be made up of songs I’ve written over the past couple of years, and of a few I haven’t completed yet. Songwriting can be quite therapeutic, and I’m allowing this creative process to penetrate crevasses not often explored. It’s certainly a departure from my previous work as a Christian Artist, but no less relevant or valid…in my opinion. You’ll have to be the judge. You can get a preview of a few tunes at MySpace.com.I’ve been traveling back and forth to Nashville trying to get a grip on the music industry there. It’s an eye-opener. I’m learning a lot about how the business works, but the most exciting thing about Nashville is the networking opportunities. I’m meeting and co-writing with other songwriters and slowly making strides in the community. I’m not entirely sure than I belong here, because I’ve never really considered myself a country music songwriter, but there are thousands of songwriters here, so that makes Nashville ‘the’ place to be. Time will tell…
